PETER ARKELL
Managing Director, China
Peter has been in the recruitment business since 1973.
In addition to his work in Australia and New Zealand, Peter has had broad international experience, with particular emphasis on the USA and Asia/Pacific Rim, including as Director of Personnel - Asia Pac of an international, US based, management consultancy.
Peter's current role is to head up Swann's presence in the Asia region, with a focus on China. Located in downtown Shanghai, the Practice has worked with many multi national companies across the breadth of China. Many have been new to this market, while others have been in the region for many years.
While it is based on the Swann foundation Practice of Mining, Metals and Energy, Peter has taken the Swann China office into the broad range of business activity. Clients from logistics, to manufacturing, finance and IT have been part of Swann's China business. Peter is a friendly face in the very dynamic marketplace.
Before coming to China, Peter established Swann's Defence Practice. Swann became a market leader in that sector and Peter continues to take a close interest in that very specialised segment. |
