Prior to founding The Swann Group, John spent more than 20 years working in substantial senior executive roles with major international mining and metals companies.
As Managing Director, John has spent over a decade recruiting key executives at the most senior levels in mining and related industries globally. He has extensive experience in executive search, organisational change, structuring, career development and training. His major strength lies in the accurate definition of client needs, particularly in the areas of organisational culture and environment. As a result, John has a close working relationship with key organisations in the mining industry and associates services where he often acts as an advisor on industry matters.
In recent times John has jointly led a global study on challenges facing the Mining and Metals industry during the next decade.
Tertiary educated, John's studies have included time at the Harvard Business School on matters such as Client Alignment and Leadership in the Service Industry.
