Promoting recycling, waste management and energy efficiency within our business activities is more than good for business it just makes good sense.

Community Involvement

Swann Global has a long standing relationship with the Melbourne Mining Club, a not-for-profit organization formed to promote the minerals industry and provide a networking forum for those with an interest in the sector. The Club’s popular bi-monthly luncheons held at the Melbourne Town Hall attract the ‘Who’s Who’ of the mining industry with prominent guest speakers and representatives from leading companies spanning the sector. In recent years the Melbourne Mining Club has ventured abroad and its annual lunch in London is a ‘must’ for those in the UK in June. 

Swann Global representatives are also active members of various non-profit organizations worldwide including: Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy; Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Australia-Brazil Chamber of Commerce; Australian Business Council - Dubai; Australian Business Group - Abu Dhabi; Australian Chamber of Commerce - Shanghai; Australia China Business Council; Canadian-Australian Chamber of Commerce; CanCham Shanghai; China International Mining Group; China Mining Association and Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada.

Swann Global supports various charitable institutions each year. In 2009 we will be supporting the Pituitary Foundation (Australia) and Half The Sky Foundation (China).
